At Rodman Steele Studio, we are proud to work with some exceptionally talented musicians that are passionate about their craft and even more passionate about sharing it with others through musical instruction.

Founder

From Nashville to South Africa, Dallas-native Rodman Steele has performed and recorded music in a host of roles across the United States and beyond. He has played professionally in pop and rock bands as a bassist, singer, and guitarist and is also a proud member of the Dallas Symphony Chorus. On Sundays, Rodman sings in the Northpark Presbyterian choir as the bass section leader and soloist.
A graduate of the Meadows School of the Arts at SMU, Rodman specializes in guitar and vocal training; live music workshops; and music ensemble development. In 2018, Rodman founded Rodman Steele Studio to offer aspiring musicians the highest quality music instruction and provide them a place to build the kind of mentor relationships with professional musicians that inspire and encourage a lifelong pursuit of music.

Griffin Camacho

Instructor & Performer

Griffin Camacho is a Graduate of the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. Along with being a Vocal Instructor at the Rodman Steele Studio, he is the Giese Music Scholar/Assistant Music Director at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Griffin has performed throughout the nation for the likes of President George W. Bush, President Barack Obama and President Joe Biden. He also performed for the opening of the Winspear Opera House and Wyly Theater in Downtown Dallas, been a soloist with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Dallas Winds, and shared stages with Alan Menken and Bruce Willis. Griffin’s love for the stage has led to roles such as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, William Barfée in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors and Counsel for the Plaintiff in Trial by Jury. Throughout his time at SMU, he has also been trained classically, being a part of productions of L’elisir d’amore by Donizetti, Alcina by Handel and Our Town by Rorem. Griffin aspires to help others find their passion of music through singing and looks forward to meeting the future musicians of our world.

Jeremiah Jensen

Instructor & Performer

Jeremiah Jensen is a gifted musician who has played drums, percussion, and guitar for over 8 years. He has played in a host of professional gigs ranging from Church to pop acts and singer/songwriters. He is self-taught and believes that absolutely anyone can learn to play anything they want. Rhythm can be taught and he loves sharing the joy of rhythm with everyone around him.

A graduate of Southern Methodist University, Jeremiah works as a creative in Dallas, Texas, shooting commercial and artistic photos, writing for local publications, and plying his craft as a musician.

Jeremiah is also a capable singer and songwriter. Music moves him, and he believes everyone should be able to feel the joy of playing music.

Zack Demaree

Instructor & Performer

Zack Demaree has been playing and performing various musical instruments and styles including classical, flamenco, fingerstyle, folk, pop, and rock for over 10 years. As a young musician, Zack was able to perform in prestigious performance halls across the nation such as Lincoln Center in New York City, Lyric Opera House in Chicago, and the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas. His musical capabilities include guitar, cello, bass, vocals, and drum set. Zack is currently a double major studying classical guitar and marketing at Southern Methodist University where he participates in the Meadows Guitar Ensemble, the World Music Ensemble, Emerging Sounds, and solo recitals. As a direct student of the highly respected pedagogue Robert Guthrie, Zack has had the opportunity to further both his playing and teaching skills to new levels. In addition to teaching music to students of all ages, Zack currently holds the positions of Director of Marketing for The Texas Guitar Society, and Head of Marketing at Rojas School of Music.

Ivan Duran Aguayo

Instructor & Performer

A Fort Worth native, Guitarist Ivan Duran Aguayo is very passionate about teaching students to create their own path and with a busy schedule of teaching and performances, Ivan brings quality of work and knowledge to everything he does. Armed with powerful knowledge from top-tier performers and achievements, Ivan strives to impart that knowledge to others.

His musical training began at the age of 11 on the Euphonium and had gained state-level achievement and later focused and obtained a BM Performance in Classical Guitar Southern Methodist University under the instruction of Robert Guthrie. Ivan comes from a family of musicians and has participated in various masterclasses and high-level instruction of guitarists like Sergio Assad, Michael Morey, and Martin Pedreira (A former student of Leo Brouwer), and more.

Ivan has musical training in Jazz, Flamenco, Rock, Mariachi, and Classical Guitar as well as Music Composition. He has had premiere of his composition works with the SMU and TCC Guitar Ensemble and performances in honor recitals and a semi-finalist in a Concerto Competition at SMU against all other instrumentalists.
Ivan is also the co-founder of the Texas Guitar Society, a fast-growing community of Guitarists in Texas that strives to create a super-network that connects musicians to resources needed to create opportunities for performers, sellers, luthiers, and more through the power of music throughout Texas. Samantha Beall

Instructor & Performer

Samantha Ball is a singer/songwriter based out of Dallas, Texas.

Samantha grew up doing musical theatre at the age of 4 and was in Broadway shows such as Annie, where she played the role of Molly. Upon discovering her love of music and theatre, she went on to pursue avenues such as Star Search and American Idol. Sam has done vocal training professionally since age 6 by coaches who launched Jessica Simpson, Demi Lovato, Ryan Cabrera, Selena Gomez, and Destiny’s Child to name a few.

Samantha’s goal and passion is to help anyone wanting a career in the music industry or a breakthrough in their voice to accomplish their goals.

Emily McMullin

Education Manager & Instructor

Emily Beaty McMullin has been playing the piano for over 20 years. Some of her earliest musical experiences included playing for local Richardson piano festivals, participating with the Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas, and arranging tunes for herself and her two sisters to perform together. She completed her undergraduate study at Bryan College in east Tennessee, earning a bachelor’s degree in Church Music. Her interest in historical research motivated her to pursue a master’s degree in Musicology from Texas Tech University, where she focused on sacred music and popular music. Her thesis, “Subcultural Conveyances: A Study of Hymn Quotations in Rap and Heavy Metal Music,” was prepared under the advisement of Dr. Lauryn Salazar. As an instructor, Emily has enjoyed a wide variety of educational roles, including choral direction, church music direction, accompaniment, private lessons, and undergraduate classroom instruction. She loves to see students develop a lifelong personal interest in music, from elementary beginners to university students and adult learners.

Emma Bolton

Instructor & Performer

Emma Bolton is a pianist, vocalist and teacher hailing from southeast Houston, Texas. She is a senior at Southern Methodist University currently pursuing a degree in Piano Performance with a pedagogy emphasis under Dr. Cathy Lysinger. Throughout her high school career, Emma was in high demand as a teacher and accompanist in the Clear Lake area, home to some of the most musically competitive public high schools in the state of Texas.
She began her private studio, Bolton Piano Studio, in her Sophomore year of high school. Over time she developed a love of teaching, as well as a roster of students ranging in age from 5 to 14, with whom she continued working until she moved to Dallas to continue pursing her career. When she’s not languishing away in a practice room, Emma loves reading, writing, and spending time with her four younger sisters and devious kitten named Lucky.
