Alex Beane
Instructor & Performer
Alex Beane, born and bred in Dallas, Texas, is an experienced musician with a penchant for innovation and production. Since graduating from SMU with degrees in music and arts entrepreneurship, he has recorded music independently as well as for other producers. Alex is currently working on his indie-pop project “Carbon Love.” Though music has been his main pursuit for years now, prior to college, Alex didn’t even play an instrument. His story just goes to show it’s never too late to catch the music bug. On any given night, you can find him performing in Deep Ellum, Trinity Groves, or his personal favorite, Burger House. In addition to creating and performing, Beane has extensive experience in the recording studio as a producer. He has worked as the lead sound engineer for the Jordan Kahn wedding band and the Center for Spiritual Living, Dallas. After teaching with Park Cities School of Music for three years, Alex joined Rodman Steele Studio this year as its third teacher and head tech guru with his sights set on sharing his knowledge and love of music with others. He specializes in guitar, piano, voice, and music production.
